The total capacities of Russian sunflower crushing companies will increase by 1.475 mln tonnes in the current year, according to the RUSEED analytical center.
“The production potential will be enough to process not only this year’s harvest, but also all the residues – the surplus capacity is forecasted at 1.2 mln tonnes,” the experts believe.
It is also specified that the gross harvest of Russian sunflower, according to experts, may amount to about 17.6 mln tonnes.
