On April 19, the Russian Federation launched another missile attack on the port infrastructure of the Pivdennyi port, the press service of the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine reports.
According to the ministry, the attack destroyed containers with agricultural products that were to be exported to Asia and Africa.
“Two terminals in the port of Pivdennyi, which specialize in transshipment of agricultural products, were attacked. One of the terminals belongs to a well-known Singaporean company that has been operating in Ukraine since 2004 and also owns several agricultural processing factories. This is more than 300 mln UAH of investments and almost 1000 jobs,” the statement emphasizes.
The Ministry of Reconstruction also added that this is the 39th Russian attack on port infrastructure facilities in Odesa region – 215 facilities, 153 vehicles, 8 civilian vessels were damaged and partially destroyed, and 26 civilians were injured.
