Rupee is expected to trade with an appreciative bias despite the dollar gaining, on the back robust US labor market data and jump in Treasury yields from 4.31% to 4.41% as traders await for the release of key inflation readings due this week. The US Non farm payrolls data released last week cited a jump from a previous figure of 270K to 303K in March, supporting the resiliency of the economy. However, cautious trade among investors ahead of US CPI and ECB Policy decision keeps the dollar gains limited. On the other hand, the Indian equities are set to open higher ahead of earnings season which shall keep the rupee supportive. Moreover, ease in Middle Eastern tensions has cooled off oil prices which further relieves pressure on the unit.
