According to the market operators, the Egyptian state agency for food procurement GASC purchased 17.25 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil and 18 thsd tonnes of soybean oil during the tender.

As specified, the sunflower oil was contracted at the price of $930 per tonne, subject to payment by LC within 180 days from operator Aston Agro Industrial – 5.75 thsd tonnes for delivery on May 1-15 and 11.5 thsd tonnes for delivery on May 16-30.

Soybean oil was purchased from ADM at a price of $1050 per tonne for delivery on May 16-30.
