According to a conservative forecast, the harvest of grains and oilseeds in Ukraine in 2024 is expected to reach 73 mln tonnes. This was announced during a meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Latvian Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation by Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka, Ukrinform reports.
“The conservative forecast is that the harvest will amount to 73 mln tonnes,” he said.
At the same time, Kachka expressed hope that this figure could be higher than the conservative forecast and close to last year’s figure, when Ukraine harvested 79 mln tonnes of grains and oilseeds.
