Rupee open largely flat amidst a firm dollar. Ahead of the FOMC meeting minutes release due tomorrow, the dollar regains momentum as investors assess the policy outlook of the world’s largest economy. Though traders seem to cling on to a risk-tolerant sentiment, outflows from Indian equities are expected to prolong ahead of Indian election results. This shall keep the rupee under pressure. However, the decline in oil prices tracking a bleak demand outlook with Fed delaying it’s rate reduction process provides relief to the rupee.
